DIRECTIONS TO ABERDEEN LODGE
From the Airport:
Take the M1/ Drumcondra Road south towards Dublin city for 5 km
Take left turn at Quinns Pub onto Clonliffe Road
Follow signs straight through to East Link Toll Bridge 1.5km (€1.20 toll fare)
Take a right at roundabout on to Sean Moore Road
Follow South city sign to first set of traffic lights and take left turn along seafront
Drive along Seafront ( ½ km) to Martello round tower
Turn immediately right at the tower on to St Johns Road
Turn right on to Park Avenue and Aberdeen lodge is on the Left.

From Dun Laoghaire:
By Car:
1. From Dun Laoghaire Port drive towards the city centre via the Rock Road and
Merrion Road
2.At the junction with Ailesbury Road take a right turn. ( the traffic lights after you
see the Merrion Shopping centre)
3. Drive across the DART line and take the first left on to Park Avenue.
4. Aberdeen Lodge is located approximately 200 metres on the left
By Train:
Take the DART to Sidney Parade station (250 metres from Aberdeen Lodge ). At the exit take a right turn and walk over the DART line, take the first left on to Park Avenue (then as above).

DIRECTIONS TO MERRION HALL & BLAKES TOWNHOUSE
From the Airport:

Take the M1/ Drumcondra Road south towards Dublin city for 5 km

Take a right at roundabout on to Sean Moore Road
Follow South city sign to first set of traffic lights
Take a right turn and an immediate left turn after Crawfords Garage on to Londonbridge road.
Drive through three sets of traffic lights and take a left on to Northumberland Road.
Keep driving straight on to Merrion Road. Passing by American Embassy on you right and the Royal Dublin Society , conference centre on you right.
You will then pass the AIB Bank centre on your left. Drive straight throught the traffic lights and Merrion Hall is on your left.
Merrion Hall is located on your left opposite the Four Seasons Hotel.

From Dun Laoghaire:

From Dun Laoghaire Port drive towards the city centre via the Rock Road and
Merrion Road. Merrion Hall & Blakes Townhouse are on the Right Hand side of Merrion Road overlooking the Royal Dublin Society grounds.

Lansdowne RoadLandsdowne Road stadium where international rugby and soccer matches are held. It has played host to international rugby since 1878. As the photo shows the lengths of the pitch are flanked by two large double tier stands (east and west stands) with terracing below, where the supporters really do get the chance to be very close to the action.

Royal Dublin SocietyThe RDS arena, which hosts the many exhibitions, concerts and of course the famous annual horse show. The Royal Dublin Society was founded in 1731 to promote the development of agriculture, arts, science and industry in Ireland. Having moved to a 15 acre site in Ballsbridge in 1879, the grounds have now increased to 40 acres with 10 multi-purpose exhibition halls, the RDS stadium, meeting rooms, bars, restaurants and over 2,000 car parking spaces.

Herbert ParkDublin's famous Herbert Park was the venue for the great exhibition in 1907, where after five years preparation all the countries of the then British Empire were represented. The park is named after Sydney Herbert, father of the Earl of Pembroke, who donated the park to the grateful citizens of Dublin city in 1903.
The park is famous both for its pond (which contained a water slide for the exhibition) and its world-famous ducks, which have been a feature of the park ever since it was built. There are also very pleasant walk-ways through the Park, extensive lawn areas, well groomed flower beds. Soccer pitches and a children's playground, as well as a bowling green and a number of outdoor tennis courts.

The light rail DART station, where one can travel to Dublin's scenic coast line from Howth to Bray.
